FRS Headquarters is the central hub of the organisation. Headquarters is a 19th century manor house, which is situated in rural Potterne. The FRS bought the property on 15th April, 1948 for £6,400 and have been there ever since. The site includes a set of stables, that have been converted into a museum of Fire & Rescue Service memorabilia (the museum is viewable by appointment only). The manor site also includes a central stores area as well as, until recently, an operational Fire Control Room. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
