As a Fire Control Operator you will be working from the new Emergency Services Communication Centre (ESCC) in Devizes, Wiltshire.

The ESCC is a Joint Services Project, catering for all three emergency services; Ambulance, Police and Fire & Rescue Service. Within the ESCC, each Service has its own dedicated staffs, both for call taking and despatch of their own resources, thus retaining the professionalism and experience of each Service, while sharing common facilities, infrastructure and some tasks, such as mapping updates.

After training you will work a 42-hour week shift system that includes night and weekend working. The Emergency Communications Centre is a no smoking environment.
