| The Shift System where
the personnel work a rota which lasts for eight days consisting of
two days on day duty from 0800 to 1800 hours, followed by two night
duties from 1800 to 0800 hours and then four days on leave.
When on duty and not involved in dealing with emergency calls, control personnel will spend much of his/her time undertaking other duties including; validating incident information and carrying out statistical or administrative tasks.
