Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service has a vacancy for Station Manager A Community Safety Inspector
within the Technical Fire Safety Department in the Swindon office. The position is conditioned to the
Day Duty System.
In addition to selection for this vacancy, it is intended that there will be a reserve list and
these names will be held for any further SMA vacancies which may arise in the Technical Fire Safety
Department up to 31 August 2009.
Applications are requested from:
- Substantive Station Managers A wishing to transfer
- Substantive Watch Managers who have completed a middle management ADC, the relevant
management development programme and wish to gain promotion

professional discussion.
For internal applicants seeking promotion:

It is up to applicants to ensure that they are suitably qualified to apply.
