How Do We Target Our Risk Reduction Activities? We have over 15000 premises on our database that are subject to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. There are many more premises that are subject to The Order we are not yet aware of. Obviously it would be impossible to undertake audits of all these premises so we have to target our activities carefully in order to ensure the greatest use of our resources. We strive to ensure that the type of premises we inspect give us cause to believe they may pose a risk to the people who may use these building if the fire safety is not properly managed. This may be for the following reasons:
The data we use is based primarily on local intelligence but we also refer to national data if we need to satisfy ourselves that we are using our resources as effectively as possible.
